What is Liposculpture?

The Liposculpture procedure, while very similar to Liposuction, offers a more efficient and precise method of fat removal and is said to deliver better results for the patient. The treatment area is injected with a diluted solution of saline, local anaesthetic and adrenaline, which causes the fatty tissue to swell and the cells to weaken, enabling the fat to be aspirated with the use of a cannula (fine, hollow tube). In preparation for the treatment, it is recommended that the patient has Lymphatic Drainage massage, to stimulate the circulation and disperse the fluids under the skin. Liposculpture may be performed under Local or General Anaesthesia, and takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete.
