What is a One Stitch Face Lift?

How does it work?

Small incisions are made in the hairline and sutures, constructed from bio-compatible polypropylene, are threaded through and anchored, tightening the skin without the need for further cutting. As the sutures are not barbed, there is no damage caused to the skin .They have instead, tiny absorbable cones spaced along the length of the shaft, which anchor deep in the skin tissue producing the necessary tension to lift the skin. Over a period of time, new tissue forms around the cones which, as they are bio-compatible, dissolve leaving the skin tightened and held in place. Any resulting scarring from the procedure is hidden in the hairline and, as the sutures bio-degrade on their own, no follow-up appointments with the Surgeon should be needed.

The One Stitch Face Lift is said to achieve subtle, understated results for the patient leaving the skin looking younger and the profile firmer and more defined. The effects can last for up to five years and may be combined with Botox or Dermal Fillers should the patient feel the need to enhance the results over time.
