How do the Two Procedures Differ?

Micro Liposuction, or the Microcannula Technique, was developed in America by Dr. Jeffrey Klein, who was looking for an effective way of removing unwanted fat from the body, but with less 'down time' than was needed following traditional Liposuction procedures. His technique was to inject a highly diluted local anaesthetic solution into the treatment site, causing the area to become engorged and firm. The fatty tissue is then removed via a microcannulas only 3mm in diameter, much finer than used in the traditional treatment. This allows for a slower evacuation leading to less damage to the treatment site and surrounding tissue.

Vaser Liposuction is an ultrasonic technique which involves the Surgeon inserting a thin, hollow tube into the fat layer under the skin, where it emits ultrasonic energy, dislodging the fat cells which are then removed by gentle suction.
